Telecom Career Program is an integrated full-time programme of four months (16 weeks) duration, covering all aspects of telecom technology, beginning with the fundamentals of Telecom Technology and the conventional technologies like GSM and CDMA and advancing to the latest technologies like 3G, WiMAX, Broadband, MPLS VPN and Next Generation Networks. In addition the program covers key conceptual skills needed for being an effective telecom professional. These include knowledge and skills in problem solving, decision making, project management and service quality management. There are also various other skills such as communication skills and soft skills, which are covered as an integral part of the Telecom Career Program.

Participants develop knowledge and practical skills in the core Telecom modules through concept sessions, practical work and field exposure under the guidance of BSNL engineers.

The program is conducted by BSNL in association with Faith InfoTech at advanced training facilities at BSNL-RTTC and Technopark, Trivandrum. State-of-the-art infrastructure at BSNL-RTTC, including equipment for training in 3G technologies is unmatched by any commercial telecom training centres in India.

On completion of the program, participants will have opportunities for employment with leading organizations in the telecom sector, including telecom equipment manufacturers, telecom service providers, managed serviced providers, infrastructure support companies and value added service providers.
